My family has been making sausage in the Texas Hill Country area for many generations. As a child, I would plead with my dad to stay home from school so I could help him -- and I did.
In 1985, after graduating from Texas A&M, I bought a small meat company in Llano. Business was good and in 2002, Miiller's Meats became Miiller's Llano Smokehouse. It was then that we moved into our new state-of-the-art facility.
We produce and sell thousands of pounds of sausage a week! Folks from all over the country also order our hickory smoked turkeys, hams, prime rib and pork loins for that special Christmas dinner, an impressive gift or for an everyday meal. We have a large wholesale client base as well. So you never know, your favorite BBQ joint could be serving up something from Miiller's!
Our retail store in Llano, Texas offers everything you need to prepare a great meal. Butcher-cut meats along with specialty items such as our jalapeno pimento cheese are favorites among the locals.
Did we mention we are located in the Deer Capital of Texas? Llano is a prime destination for hunters from all over. We take our same great tried-and-true recipes and make some of the best Venison sausages and cuts of meat you have ever tasted.
